Welcome to the Retreat
We offer clean comfortable rooms with everything you will need whilst enjoying your stay. Our cottages are set on 10 acres on the outskirts of town amongst beautiful established trees with an abundance of birdlife. Bird lovers can enjoy a walk around Woody Lake Nature Reserve and beach enthusiasts can venture out to Cape Le Grand National Park for a day of exploring our amazing coastline.

A great place for guests to unwind and enjoy each others company at the end of each day.

Our two bedroom family cottage offers a home away from home. Includes full kitchen for those wishing to self cater, living/dining, bathroom and walk through bedroom arrangement. Main bedroom offers a queen sized bed and second bedroom a bunk bed (double plus single) A great place for guests to unwind and enjoy each others company at the end of each day. Second bedroom has a TV and lounge area. Outside deck area is perfect for afternoon drinks or alfresco dining.

Apex Port Tours
Saturday Port Tours - The Apex Club of Esperance operates bus site tours of the Port every Saturday at 1.30pm from the Bower Ave Port Viewing Area (Off The Esplanade). Tours are free of charge and no bookings are required. Donations appreciated with all proceeds going back into the local community.
Esperance Bird and Animal Park and Cafe
Meet and hand feed woolly, hairy, furry, feathery friends. If you're travelling with kids in tow, visiting the local Bird and Animal Park is a must. Located only 10 minutes from the town centre and home to over 200 birds and animals, a visit to the park allows guests to hand feed most of the resident animals, as well as cuddle rabbits and guinea pigs. Enjoy a meal or drink on the cafe's verandah, surrounded by bird life and shady trees.

Must see full sized replica of the original Stonehenge in the UK, as it would hve looked around 1950BC. Walk amongst the stones, take photos and experience the grandeur of the structure.

Section Glass Gallery and Cafe
Home to prominent and awarded glass artist, Cindy Poole, her studio and café space encompasses a diverse range of kiln-fired glasswork including bespoke and conceptual artworks and sculpture, contemporary designer glass jewellery, functional and decorative glass objects, unique giftware and Australian souvenires.
Kepwari Wetland Trail
3.6km interpretive trail winding through fringing sedge lands, Melaleuca thickets, heathlands, under Banksia canopies and over dune ridges, with views of the internationally recognized wetland system and surrounding catchment.
Cape Le Grand National Park
Possibly the most iconic and spectacular of the Southern Coastal National Parks, is Cape Le Grand. Located approx. half an hour east of Esperance, the park's rolling heathlands are home to pygmy possums and the western grey kangaroo. The roos are often spotted lazing on the white sandy beaches, or skipping among the local campsites and socializing with visitors to the park.
